PETE EASTMURE is an Ontario-based country folk artist. His unique sound is characterized by acoustic layered guitar and sometimes electric Gretsch White Falcon, and on Albums, moody pedal steel guitar and mandolins. “Honourable Mention in American Songwriter Magazine” 2019. Maverick Magazine UK.,writes “Canadian singer-songwriter, Pete Eastmure is back with another brilliant collection of songs. The song writing draws heavily from traditional Americana folk and country music. Influenced by Gordon Lightfoot, Elizabeth Cotton, borrowing liberally from Hank Williams and The Drifting Cowboys. Pete grew up on a horse farm on the side of the Blue Mountains Ontario, before leaving at an early age and hitchhiking to California.
